For twelve years I've built the tools other people build websites with: WordPress page builders, block libraries, header-footer systems and template engines that today run on over a million active sites. Lately that has meant teaching the software to do the building itself. At ZipWP I designed the engine that turns a short description of a business into a finished website, copy and images included, in under 30 seconds.

I work across PHP, Laravel, React, Next.js and MySQL, and I've led five teams through the full arc of a product: architecture, delivery, performance, and the support tickets that tell you what you got wrong. The work I'm proudest of is the invisible kind. A plugin that loads only what the page actually needs. An interface where the complicated thing feels obvious.
